35 Weeks

Five weeks to go!  Yikes!

  • How far along?  35 Weeks yesterday! Yikes!
  • How I'm feeling? I am feeling good, but have been tired the past few days.  After two or three weeks of high blood pressure and swelling, my doctor put me on bedrest with limited activity, which meant I wasn't going back to work...talk about traumatized!  The first two weeks of school are not the ones you want to miss when you are a 1st grade teacher.  I am able to leave for an hour, two hours max if I have an errand to run, doctors office, etc., but no Walmart grocery trips or anything that requires me to be up on my feet for a long period of time.  Swelling and blood pressure has improved!
  • Total weight gain? Not totally sure to be honest.  I do know that last week I had lost a pound and this week I had lost another half pound, so that's a positive :)
  • How big is baby? We had an ultrasound yesterday just to make sure everything was okay since I have had high blood pressure.  They estimated that Tucker is 5 pounds, 14 ounces - close to 6 pounds!
  • Maternity Clothes? No question about what clothes I'm wearing these days :)  Since I don't leave my house much these days, my clothes pretty much consist of comfy pants and t-shirts.  .
  • Stretch Marks? I'm pretty lucky that I've avoided stretch marks.
  • Sleep: I'm still sleeping pretty well.  My bathroom trips have decreased to one or two at night instead of three or four, which is nice!
  • Best Moment This Week: Not starting school yesterday was quite traumatizing for me, but I got to FaceTime with my class...just about brought this emotional pregnant momma to tears! And last week my Mom and I finished the nursery, which is just the cutest thing ever.
  • Movement: He's still moving around, but I am still convinced he's going to be pretty laid back.
  • Food Cravings: Cereal, cereal, and cereal.  I think I could eat it every meal.
  • Food Aversions: Still Grilled Chicken and pizza.
  • Labor Signs: Not yet.  According to the doctor, no dilation yet.
  • Belly Button In or Out?? It's starting to make it's way outward.
  • What I Miss: Leaving my house to go shop or do whatever I'd like for more than an hour!
  • What I'm Looking Forward To: Having this baby...soon!
  • Milestone:  Normal blood pressure this week!
