You're Worthy of My Praise

Our traditional Methodist church has started having a contemporary service every 5th Sunday of the month, which ends up being about every 3 months. I am a part of the Praise Team during the contemporary service playing the keyboard and this week the whole Praise Team sang the opening prelude. We sang You're Worthy of My Praise and I have fallen in love with this song! I found it on iTunes sung by Jeremy Camp. He is worthy of all my praise and I hope you feel the same.

You're Worthy of My Praise
Written by David Ruis

I will worship
With all of my heart
I will praise You
With all of my strength
I will seek You
All of my days
And I will follow
All of Your ways

I will give You all my worship
I will give You all my praise
You alone I long to worship
You alone are worthy of my praise

I will bow down
Hail You as king
And I will serve You
Give You everything
I will lift up
My eyes to Your throne
And I will trust You
I will trust You alone

I will give You all my worship
I will give You all my praise
You alone I long to worship
You alone are worthy of my praise

showering baby gracen

On Saturday I hosted a baby shower for my sweet friend Brooke and baby Gracen who arrives in three weeks!  I had so much decorating the shower with a personalized touch.

I absolutely LOVE my new drink dispenser and stands from Pottery Barn.  My mom had the same dispenser so I borrowed hers for the shower so I could have matching dispensers.  I served water and Summer Tea

Funny decorating story.  I had bought two 6 month outfits for my niece for Easter, but they ended up being too small for baby girl.  I had also ordered this cute turquoise personalized gown from Ashley at Pumpkin Butter Kids. I wanted to use them for decoration somehow.  So, the night before the shower I decided to lose my mind.  I had this dress stand that was used in my nursery when I was a baby that held my pretty little smocked dresses.  I had painted it red at one point and the night before the shower, while it was pouring down rain, I decided to spray paint it chocolate brown on my back porch.

At the shower we served turkey salad sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, fruit kabobs, fresh veggies and dip, sausage balls, and a new recipe that I think were called ham cups that one of the hostesses made. We also had vanilla cupcakes that had a cream filling.  They were to die for!

I loved the party poms that I ordered!  I can't wait to use them again.  I found them on etsy from Party Poms.

This is Brooke and I with the other hostesses.  Lindsey, the one of the far right, is the only one of us that is from Carlisle.  The rest of us were implanted :)  All of our husbands were friends growing up and we all became instant friends.  I never imagined when I moved to small town Carlisle that I would have such a great group of friends!

A few snapshots of Easter with the Kelly family. We missed my parents! Hopefully they can join us next year.
