heath bar cake

Heath Bar Cake = suuuuper delicious.

The first time I made this cake was for my father-in-law's birthday several years ago and he fell in love.  I hadn't made it in a while and needed to make a cake for a church fundraiser and my mom suggested I do the Heath Bar Cake.  If you want to make the church folk happy just make a good cake!  I was in a time crunch that day so I didn't snap a picture of it, but I snagged this one online and it looks identical to mine :)

Heath Bar Cake

1 pkg. German Chocolate cake mix
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
1 jar Hot Fudge Sundae Sauce, heated
6 Heath Bars, crushed
1 8 oz. Cool Whip

Prepare cake mix according to package.  Bake in a 9x13 pan.  Let cool 10 minutes.

Poke holes over entire cake.  Pour condensed milk into all holes and then top with heated fudge sauce.  Make sure fudge gets into all the holes.

Mix crushed Heath bars with Cool Whip.  When cake has completely cooled, spread Cool Whip mixture over cake.

Serve and enjoy!

We absolutely love this cake and anytime we take it somewhere we never seem to have left overs which we always hope to for our own sake! This is a great recipe and easy for everyone. My kids love helping out in the kitchen and this is one they can do.
Have a great week girl! Thanks for sharing because with all these new great recipes sometimes I forget about the old ones
