My first day of Spring Break I found myself in the spring spirit and headed to Lowe's to buy a few plants. My planters on my back porch needed some tender loving care. I did come home with some plants, but oh.my.goodness! these came home with me too. Mom laughed because I bought yard art, but they are not yard ornaments in my front yard. I haven't turned redneck even though I live in small town Arkansas; they are on my cute little planter cart on my backporch. How could you pass up these cute little friends?
While I was on my little day outing, I had to finally put gas in my new car for the first time since we purchased it. And while I do love my new Yukon, I'm not loving the $80 I paid to fill it up today! I had a Tahoe so I'm used to higher than normal gas bills so it hasn't been a huge shock. I'm not confident it will last me long this week since I'm heading to Texarkana tomorrow, but hopefully on a normal week the gas will last a while. But, I do do love it and am still so happy we decided on the Yukon! Thankfully I drive less than 10 miles to work and live in a very small town so the grocery store, bank, post office are a very itty bitty short drive :)
