Two weekends ago, on October 2, we had the last Kelly cousin wedding. The farmer's cousin got married and all the farmer could think about was how he had to give a best man speech - one of his fears - at the top of a 30 story building standing against huge windows - another fear. Fortunately, he survived.
In case you haven't realized yet - maybe you are new to my blog - I am a farm widow, which basically means the majority of my year I lose my husband to the farm. Well, so does this lovely lady and thank goodness her and Chad moved back to Carlisle...so he could farm again....it's made my life a little easier. She has officially become part of the "talk on the phone daily" list.
The farmer and I.
Sidenote: How can you look totally different in two pictures taken within 10 minutes of each other. Beyond me. I prefer the Whitney above.
This precious little thing has made the farmer and I an aunt and uncle. We love him. He has been here for two weeks since the wedding and we miss him since he left this week.
The little man's grandpa, aka, my father-in-law. Doesn't he look like a little man?? Michael, not grandpa.
My sister-in-law and her cute family.
Our other half. Chad and Brea.
We found our last night they are expecting baby number two!
(See sidenote about pregnant friends at end of post)
It's a rare occurence to see a picture of the farmer and I on the blog this time of year because well, it's farming season and there are no outings for us two normally that is picture worthy. Two pictures in one post in October. This must be a record! Definitely hating the stray hair.
Love her. Brea and I at the wedding. There is that stray hair again.
Ash and me.
The in-laws. Such a cute family.
You can spot mom behind Jerry's head. That's the closest thing to a picture of her I could get. She stays away from the camera. Dad on the other hand...well, he loves you taking pictures of him.
My second in-laws. The Bennetts.
Kellys+Bennetts = Griswalds.
Jerry & Janet are best friends with Billy & LaQuita.
Matt & Whitney are best friends with Chad & Brea.
Will our kids continue the tradition????
And, oh my. Is he just not the most precious blonde you've ever seen?
The farmer's cousin makes beautiful children.
I'm not sure I've ever typed captions for every single picture. Makes me sound so chatty.
And the sidenote I mentioned above:
