mmmmm fall!

Fall is my favorite time of year!  This weekend the weather has been so cool and it just makes me so happy thinking about the fall season approaching.  Last weekend I pulled out the fall decorations, bought mums for my front porch, been spending my weekends watching college football, fall shows are back, and even today I put on a sweatshirt.  Ok, I know it's not THAT cold, but my house is always freezing so I have kept myself warm with a sweatshirt on and maybe I'm just getting myself ready to wear warm clothes.

Speaking of warm clothes I got a super cute jacket, two sweater dresses, and a sweater at LOFT yesterday.  I tried to share all my fabulous items with you, but the website wouldn't let me save pictures....stooopid.  Seems like all of my clothes these days come from LOFT, Gap, or Target...I'm really thinking outside of the box, but come on, I looooooove LOFT!

Last week was my mother-in-law's birthday.  I worked on a little project for her for her birthday.

Since my mother-in-law is a somewhat newish grandmother, she's all about showing off her grandbaby.  Grizz and Granna are what my mother and father-in-law call themselves so I made them a personalized magnetic board for their laundry room to give them another opportunity to show off their grandchildren to people when they walk in the back door.

Another great part of fall is that it's a wonderful season for photography!  My session from last weekend was so precious!  You can see the pictures here.  I'll be gearing up for Christams cards soon and a new photography blog is in the works!

college football!

I aboslutely LOVE this time of the year.  There is just nothing like cooler weather and COLLEGE FOOTBALL!

I'll be the first to admit that my team is not one in the run for the national championship....yet at least....but I am a loyal fan and love the Aggies even when they let me down.  Something about being an Aggie.  I'm hoping and praying for the best for this season :)  They play Stephen F. Austin tonight and I'm pulling for a win!

As much as I hate to admit it, I will also be following this team.

It doesn't really help that I live in the dead center of Razorback land or that I married into a Razorback obsessed family or that I am surrounded by friends that breathe Razorback football.  So, I'm pretty much forced to watch them, but do not get me wrong, I am an AGGIE!  I try to like the Razorbacks so I keep an open mind.

Now, come October 9 when these two teams play each other, it's a no brainer who I'll cheer for even though they got demolished last year.  When you are an Aggie you don't give up on your team and I certainly will not this year.  I'll just be praying for a better outcome!

Wish I could stick around to watch some college football today - ESPN College Gameday is getting me pretty excited!  But, I'm off to the zoo with Brea and Brooke and their little munchkins.  The weather outside is soooo nice.  It should be a fun afternoon.

Wait, today is really not much different than any other day of my life.

I work in a zoo everyday!
